This was supposed to be a nice story to read, something cute and lovely to read on a rainy afternoon with a cup of hot chocolate.

Whenever a promotional banner for the story appeared on the webtoon home page, it was an image of the protagonists smiling, swimming happily in the wide and vast sea... and although it does have scenes like that, the truth is that the story is deep and leaves the reader at many moral and existential crossroads.

Because, on one hand I feel sorry for the suffering of the shark people and I want them to be released from their curse ASAP, but at the same time I don't want them to harm Kappa under any reason or circumstance ๐Ÿ’”

๐Ÿ˜ช๐Ÿ˜ช And as angry as I am with Susca for her actions, the truth is that I would have done the same๐Ÿ˜ต‍๐Ÿ’ซ It's a situation that nobody wants to be in and I understand that she did what she understood was best to protect Siren. .. her solution was wrong... yes, but she did what she could with what had at hand.

It infuriates me how everyone expects Kappa to solve all their problems!! OMFG!!! Do something for yourselves!

Ok, I better calm down...

So far I've read seasons 1 and 2 and I'm waiting for season 3 to progress a bit more (currently season 3 is halfway through).

I loved the story, the art is really beautiful, its obvious the author es very talented and its doing theirs best.

I can't wait to read about the new adventures of Kappa and Siren and the development of their love and relationship.

"Yes, he is a monster, but he is my monster".
A morally grey, obsessed vampire with anger management issues... Sold!

Ever since Lucien appeared in the first book of the series and then his brief encounter with Soren in the second I knew he would be my favorite and is, so far, the bad boy of the year!

Big
Grumpy
Muscular
Bad attitude
Obsessive
With french accent
Possessive
Insensitive to everyone except his mate... Of course he is my favorite!

And Jaime is exactly what Lucien needed to be happy. Destined mates is my favorite trope without a doubt and all the books in this series represent different scenarios of how a relationship between destined mates can develop and the plots are not repetitive or boring. Each one is different front the others.

Not what I expected, but better...

Contrary to what the name suggests, nothing is fine! The neighbors always seemed suspicious to me, I hate them! Damn Linda, because of her they "erased" poor Charlie, but guess what b*tch! Karma is a bigger b*tch! Linda and her husband deserve what they got.

I'm glad Sam and Maggie indirectly avenged poor Charlie.

Now I need answers, many answers!

This month I read the firts season on webtoon, but second season is already complete and I´m going to read it next month and hopefuly I will get answers.

Unsurprisingly, this book was a whirlwind of emotions, each stronger than the last. Needless to say, I absolutely adored every moment.

I loved seeing all the personal growth MB has gone through and how he is now able to admit and express his feelings.

I almost died when target said ART was "deleted".

I totally agreed with the idea of gutting and dismembering those responsible for "killing" ART.

Amena represents me in her work as "Celestine" and mediator between ART and MB

Murderbot Jr., AKA Murderbot 2.0, KillWare for his friends, is undoubtedly the son of MB and ART (inherited ART's black humor and MB's killer instincts), I was sad that he "died" ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ ๐Ÿ˜ญ

At the beginning of the book I didn't like Thiago, but luckily he vindicated himself and I like him a bit now (Thiago is the annoying cousin of the family).

ART and MB's relationship is totally out of any definition of romance, yet it's so cute... I don't know how to explain it.

I love how they take care of each other, how they look for each other when they need help, how they are willing to kill, dismember and/or bomb a planet to rescue the other ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿคญ

I love it, I just love them.

I chose Alice Oseman's books to meet the May challenge to read a Young Adult book, my plan was to read only the first one, just to meet the conditions of the challenge. But what a surprise I got!

I know there is a Netflix series based on the books and it was a Boom! when it came out, but, due to bad experiences, I usually stay away from series and books that go viral on social media.

The truth is that I liked the books, I read them in an afternoon and I could understand why the series went so viral. It's a pretty accurate representation of adolescent life at this time.

I don't have much to say about it other than I enjoyed them and I look forward to the next book.

I really loved the story, not only because the fuckbodies to lovers trope is my favorite, but also because of the development of Gabe and Alke. How they got to know each other and how their feelings grew. Both, at different points in the story, said: I want this; And they went after it despite the fear that they would be rejected and the nervousness of taking that first step or starting a conversation.

It's been quite a while since the last time a romance book made me cry, and more considering that this book is quite light, but oh god if I cried.

Romance aside, something I really liked was seeing Tam and Gabe's mother, little by little, changing her mind, understanding that although Tam chose a different path than she had imagined for him, it's not a bad thing, it's just different.

I look forward to the next book and hopefully I can see that Tam and his family getting close.

๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ˜ฏ๐Ÿ˜ฏWao!

I did not expect that turn of events and much less that ending.

I absolutely loved Murderbot´s personality. It is an insensitive, cynical, pessimistic with anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder (yes, both) who lives in a perpetual state of psychosis and stress, an absolute idiot by any measure. But when compared to the humans it's had to deal with I'm surprised it hasn't turned into a mass murdering psychopathic AI.

Instead of wanting to kill all humans, it prefers to spend much of his processing power watching TV series, listening to music, or reading, and the main reason it has no interest in engaging in mass murder full-time is because... well, if there are no humans... who is going to produce the next chapter of Sanctuary of the Moon?

Charting this book was challenging as I couldn't put simples on it ⭐, this book deserves bright and shining stars ✨, I couldn't use ❤️ either as there isn't even the slightest bit of romance (MurderBot is sickened at the thought of love or romance), so I used amazed kittens ๐Ÿ™€ to express my amazement and joy at the cynicism of MurderBot and angry cats ๐Ÿ˜พ to express my anger at certain injustices and emojis of a surprised girl to express my surprise at the end of the book.

So yeah, I loved.

Review

Damn ending! ๐Ÿ˜‘

It makes sense that they didn't get together and that it would take a reincarnation a thousand years later for them to have their happy ending...

I understand... But it doesn't satisfy me.

I cried, oh god how I cried!

But I loved the story, of course I did.

Note: this book is originally in spanish, I don´t know if there is a english version.

Review

The cover and the title totally grabbed me.

As for the story I am pleasantly surprised that, despite being a slow burn (which I usually avoid like the plague), it has me very trapped. And while I tend to prefer stories focused on the relationship of the characters, this one is more oriented to the slow development of that relationship and the adventures they have while they meet (or rather that they meet while living various adventures ๐Ÿคญ).

I loved, seriously seriously, I loved Tan. The dichotomy of his personality is... Uff something else.

-He is the most powerful dark sorcerer in the kingdom - Yes
-He can kill you in a varaety of "creative" ways - Sure
-He is funny, adorable and totally cute - Absolutely!

✨✨✨✨✨ The drama!

This manhwa is the lost son of a Mexican novel and a Brazilian novel ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿป‍♀️๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

The first thing is not to look for mathematical logic to the time travel, that is not important, it happened and that's it. Once you put that aside, you can enjoy the story.

As for the story, I loved it. Ji Won and Jihyuk deserved to be happy and I'm glad they got it.

I loved the petty revenge that Jin Won got from her envious best friend and her traitorous husband, they definitely deserved that ending. They learned the hard way that karma is a spoiled bratt vengeful bitch and you shouldn't mess with her.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I really loved this story

I loved Pete and Chad, how Peter understood that to have a life with Chad he had to make certain changes and Chad in fact did not have to demand those changes, but Peter knew that they had to be made and he did it because Chad and his happiness are more important.

I have already read the books of the Omega 1-7 series and I know how this world and its society is built, and it is something that has surprised me and has filled me with existential doubts. ๐Ÿ˜ต‍๐Ÿ’ซ It has made me question me things I usually don't think about when reading an omegaverse , and that's a good thing.

I'm glad the series is complete, so I can move on to the next book right away ✨✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Merchant ❤️‍๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿคค

Since book 0.5 I have loved Merchant and this book only confirmed that he deserved that love and gave me more reasons to love him.

It's a good ending to this series although I wish there were more books and to develop the theme of omega rights and the challenge that Peter won the alpha in charge of the omega Guardianship center, I think that would be a good way to get more freedoms for the omegas.

I was pleasantly surprised by Merchant's personality, he is a fluffy cupcake ❤️‍๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿคค

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved!

I loved the story and getting to know a little more about Henri. Everything related to Priest hurt me a lot and on more than one occasion I wanted to kill him. On the one hand I am full of questions like: what if...?

What if Henri had changed his life before Julien showed up... Would we have had "The Princesse, the Ghost and the Priest"...?

But on the other hand I understand that Henri was not prepared to make that change in his life... Maybe Bailey was just what he needed or maybe not, maybe Robbie would have been a better option for Henri, considering how well they get along ... ๐Ÿคฏ

Anyway... The story was good (which was no surprise, because Ella Frank), I liked Bailey and also Henri, I loved them both. ❤️‍๐Ÿ”ฅ

Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was perfect

At first I had no faith in the story of these two... And I was totally wrong! I loved them from start to finish. I cried and suffered for Henri and all the things that have happened to him. I got pretty mad at Priest, but looking at things objectively, I understood that this is how everything should happen.

But...

What if... What if Julien had never tried to steal Joel's car...

What if Joel and Julien never met and when Henri came to LA to talk to Joel about their relationship and tell him that he doesn't like Joel hanging out with more people and Joel takes the opportunity to tell him that he doesn't want Henri to come back to New Orleans and that Henri has to organize his life...

What if they both try to have a relationship, but since they are both dominant they decide to invite someone more submissive from time to time to their beds...

What if one day, Henri meets Robbie at The Popped Cherry and falls for him and later Joel meets Robbie at the Logan&Mitchel offices (very similar to the original scene).

What if Joel's father kidnaps Robbie and Henri and Joel rescue him...

What if the names of the books were:
Robby
Henry
priest
The Princesse, The Phantom and The Priest

There are so many possibilities...

Please God enlighten Ella Frank to make us an alternate universe special ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I got scared

I wasn't expecting that plot twist, but it certainly makes sense as the latest victims didn't quite fit the MO... However they never explained why the killer stopped killing six years ago, they didn't say if he continued killing while in the army and he only lasted 3 years in the army, then he got out, but the question remains, why did he stop killing?

I also ran into other inconsistent and inclusive things, but I was still quite surprised by hijacking, I already knew that would happen, it was a bit too obvious, but it wasn't exactly the way I thought and liked it.

A Naiad´s Promise

Details

A romance with a human virgin, a naiad pirate, a failed one-night stand, age-difference, hurt/comfort, magic, and a kraken.

Ratherin is a virgin who dreams of a world beyond his small island. When pirates visit, Ratherin is captivated by the older water nymph and pirate Aneya. They share one passionate night. But as the sun rises and Aneya departs, Ratherin is left with nothing but memories. And a promise. A promise that Aneya will return and seek Ratherin out.

But when Aneya comes back, Ratherin’s world has been engulfed by grief after the death of his beloved uncle. On an impulse, Ratherin leaves his home and travels to Temple Island. Unable to leave Ratherin alone with his sorrow, Aneya stays by his side, offering solace and comfort.

Their connection and passion deepen, and Ratherin realises he wants more than just a temporary respite from his pain. He wants a love that will last a lifetime. And he wants that with Aneya.

But Aneya only planned for their relationship to be temporary. After all, Ratherin is too young and his grief is too deep for him to truly know his own heart.

Will Aneya open his heart to Ratherin? Or will fear cause him to hold back?

Overview

This is the fifth book in the series and the last published so far. I would say it is the most emotional as the protagonists find themselves overcoming the loss of loved ones while finding love and building a relationship while on a journey of personal discovery.

Many things happen at the same time in the lives of the characters.

I would describe this book as a fuckbodies to friends to lovers and what I like about it is that they don't take years to go from one thing to another and that at least one of them has the courage to tell the other how they feel.

And I loved that!

Review
I loved it
I got mad, laughed, cried, felt the horror of Ceto and Raiya about the Vegan thing ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
My new least favorite line is "we're friends" or "you're my friend" OMFG!!!

Leaving aside my feelings (which are all over the place) This book explores the difficulties of a relationship between people with very different backgrounds. Ratherin is young and inexperienced while Aneya is mature and more experienced.

Ratherin and Aneya complement each other just perfect and not only in terms of their relationship, but also with their magic.

They take care of each other and their relationship develops in the exact way that they both need.

I love that in each book I discover and learn more about the world in which it takes place, the magic, the creatures, the places, the kraken (yes, there is a kraken).

Another thing I love about this books is that even though each book is about a different couple, there is a subplot that can only be understood by reading the books in order. And for me that's a bonus.

I'm looking forward next book!! I want The Order to be defeated once and for all!

As Ceto heals, desires grow, and passions ignite. But is there something more than friendship between them? And will Ceto see what is right in front of him before it is too late?
-
NAIAD'S KISS is the fourth novel of the A NAIAD ROMANCE series. Each book contains a HEA with no cliffhangers and can be read as a stand alone.

Content notes: sexual content, swearing, captivity and abuse of nymphs, and violence.

Overview

And we are already in book four, we know better the story of Captain Sillas, how he became a pirate and how he began his fight against The Order.

In this book we will see a little more about the magic that the order uses to drain the life energy of the naiads and we will also see that they are not the only ones who can use magic and that not all magic has evil purposes.

In this book we have a story of personal growth, fight against insecurities and physical, mental and emotional healing.

Review

I must admit that friends to lovers is not my favorite trope and less when they have known each other for a long time and are in love, but they do nothing about it (honestly, I hate that and I end up annoyed with the characters, and this book was no exception). Every time one of them said "Xxx is the only one I want", it made me want to get into the book, slap them in the face and shout at them: "Then do something!" ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฌ

๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ Ok, I'm going to calm down...

The story was good, it had very emotional parts, they talked about their feelings at the right time, when they were both ready to do something about it (I know that)... But that doesn't take away the frustration I felt. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

I loved the family and all the inhabitants of the island. (If anyone knows where is the Island please let me know if need passport, visa and where are the shipping ports because I want to move with them ๐Ÿ˜)

Now, I'm going to pray ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ฏ️a little bit to ask that one of the next books to be of Easton and Nyma in love with someone else. It became clear that they have an open relationship and I want to know more about them.

The Pirate and the Naiad

Details
A pirate captain. A naiad who despises him.

Raiya despises humans. They abducted him from his home, kept him in captivity, and forced him to fight other nymphs. But when a pirate ship crewed by both naiads and humans rescues him, he is confused at seeing them working and living together. What’s more baffling is his attraction to the ship’s captain, with his calm confidence, broad shoulders, and steely grey eyes. Even so, Raiya will never give in to his desire for a human.

Silas is the pirate captain of the Naiad’s Revenge. His mission is to lead the crew in their fight against the Order. But when Raiya comes aboard, Silas can’t deny his attraction to the scowling naiad stalking around his ship. However, Raiya clearly loathes Silas, so there is no point wishing for something more.

As they fight alongside each other, Raiya realises that Silas is different from the humans he’s dealt with before. Still, after everything humans have done to Raiya, could he ever love one?
-
THE PIRATE AND THE NAIAD is the third novel of the A NAIAD ROMANCE series. Each book contains a HEA with no cliffhangers and can be read as a stand alone.

Content notes: sexual content, swearing, captivity and abuse of nymphs, violence.

Overview

Here we are with our dearest captain Sillas and his sweetheart Raiya. From this book, apart from concentrating on the love stories of each couple, the fight of the Naiad's Revenge crew against The Order also takes center stage.

We will begin to better understand the world and the physical and magical laws that coexist in it and that apart from humans and naiads there are other creatures, for example dryads among others that we will see in the following books.

From now on we will have training sequences, action, adventure, fights... let's say something like Pirates of the Caribbean, but in MM (which if you ask me, it's better ✨๐Ÿ˜…✨).

Review
It was good. I enjoyed it.

I think the best description for this story would be Enemies to lovers with a bit of D/s dynamics and age gap (between 7 to 10 years apart). I would even say that it has a bit of a found family since Raiya does, in fact, find a new family after losing his own.

I love that all the books in this series not only focus on romance, but also deal with other aspects, such as family relationships. It makes the plot more complete and deep.

As for the characters, at times I got very angry at Raiya and his tendency to judge without giving others the opportunity to explain themselves, nor does he have to think about what situations have led others to make that or this decision. And although I understand that those reactions came from the pain and suffering that Raiya suffered, it seemed very selfish of him not to stop to think that the others (Shai and Sillas) have also gone through painful situations.

Sillas, uff... Sillas is a man on a mission: to protect as many naiads and dryads as he can and stop The Order. He is a good man, kind and fair. Good leader who cares about his crew and is just what Raiya needs to heal his wounds and Raiya is what Sillas needs to heal his loneliness.

This romance by itself is a great story, but it's even better since it has an underlying plot in which we see fights, action, adventure... wow that was really good.

Finally, as for Ceto, I hope that in the next few books he can find someone who loved him and appreciated him as he deserves.

Looking forward to book 4!

A Naiad´s Heart

Details

An eager human virgin. An experienced naiad with no desire to settle.

Gabriel lives a quiet existence as a seaweed farmer in a small seaside village. But his life is turned upside down when a naiad rescues him from drowning during a storm. Now Gabriel returns to his simple life in his village, but he is obsessed with the naiad, whose wild green hair; toned, naked body; and regal features consume his every fantasy. Gabriel must see the naiad again.

The naiad, Alke, is an adventurer with no desire to settle. He is happy to swim wherever the tide takes him and have sex with whomever he meets. Then a human turns up searching for him. A virgin who stares at him with complete adoration and desire in his pretty hazel eyes. Who is Alke to resist?

It starts out as sex. It’s meant to be temporary. Just some fun. But as they get to know each other, feelings grow. Can Alke admit that he wants more? And is Gabriel willing to wait for Alke to figure it out?

Overview

In this book we learn a little more about the protagonists of the first while we see the development of Gabe and Alke's relationship, and of course, introducing ourselves a little more to the world in which the characters live.

This book also serves as an introduction to the crew of the Naiad's Revenge and their mission to fight against The Order's atrocities against the naiads. We meet the captain of the ship, Sillas Tivera, and his first mate Ceto, who is one of the many naiads that the captain has rescued and who decided to join his pirate crew and accompany Silas in his fight against The Order. .

I'm not going to talk much about the crew or the order as those are details and facts that are discovered and developed in the following books, so if you are curious, read the whole series!

Waooo this was an adventure.

Review

The drama!

And definitely in my next life I want to be Pang.

Good and bad. Right and wrong.

Life would be easy if things were always that simple. That’s never been the case for Henri Boudreaux. Son of a criminal. Ex-boyfriend to a Priest.

Henri's made a career out of getting in trouble and avoiding the law. So when he winds up in bed with it, he knows that things are about to get…complicated.

But what’s life without taking a few risks? And what’s a risk without the threat of being caught? No one's ever accused Henri of being good man.

And Officer Craig Bailey is about to find out just how bad he can be.

I loved!

To love a Naiad

Details

A lonely human fisherman. A naiad terrified of humans. An MM fantasy romance.

Fisherman Tam lives alone in his cabin. It’s a quiet life, a calm life, and a lonely one. One night, he sees a naiad in a cage. Horrified, Tam buys the naiad and sets him free. But even after the naiad disappears into the ocean, Tam can’t stop thinking about the beautiful, slender nymph, with his dark-blue eyes.

Shai has learned the hard way that humans are to be feared. But when a human saves him, it upends everything he thought he knew about them. He knows he should stay away from the fisherman. They are from two different worlds. They have nothing in common. They don’t even speak the same language. And although the man rescued him, Shai knows humans can’t be trusted.

But Shai can’t stay away. Nor can he ignore the desire he feels for this big man with his broad shoulders and hairy chest. But is there a chance for love between a human and a naiad? Or are their differences too great to overcome?

Overview

To love a Naiad by Gigi River is a fantasy/romance MM book that introduces us to a world made up of small islands scattered across the sea.

In this world we find the Naiads, which are blue or green creatures, depending on whether they are naiads from the sea or from lakes and rivers.

One of the most notable characteristics of these creatures, apart from the color of their skin, is that they do not speak the same language as humans. Personally, this was a detail that I found very interesting.

To love a Naiad is the first book in the A Naiad Romance series, each book features a romance between a human and a naiad and can be read independently, but is best enjoyed in order.

In this first book we have Tam and Shai as main characters. Tam is a fisherman who lives on a small island alone and away from his family, this because he feels inadequate to live with them. Shai on the other hand is a naiad who has lived in captivity for a long time and away from water and because of that he has gotten sick.

Tam finds Shai caged in a market stall on the island he is visiting and decides to buy the naiad to help him recover and free him.

I just loved it!

Tam and Shai are super adorable. I felt very identified with Tam's feelings regarding the expectations that his family (specifically his mother) had for him.

The story is simple and very sweet. I liked the slow way in which they fall in love and how without knowing it and without being able to express it (literally they cannot communicate since they do not speak the same language) they care for each other.

The language barrier was a bit frustrating, but it makes sense and seeing how they were learning to communicate was very nice.

And you, would give it a chance?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best ending. best desicion of the year so far

Spending the first day of the year reading this book has undoubtedly been the best decision of the year haha. I cried, I got angry with some characters, others left me just surprised, very very surprise.

I loved Fenix (which is no surprise, I fell in love with the character since the Lust book). I loved everything about the story.

This book as a closing of the main plot was a rollercoaster of emotions. Although the author promises us an HEA, the story is also well done that at times I found myself fearing the end or fate of the characters.

And although I knew that Lucifer was evil and that his destiny was undoubtedly death, I found myself crying just like Pride. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคง

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ella Frank would be my death

It's the first book I've read where one of the characters is described as a transvestite and for a moment I thought I'd dismiss him just because of that, which would have been stupid, obviously.

As for the characters, I loved Bash, he super fun and effervescent, it knows what he's worth and doesn't let anyone doubt it. Kieran is a loving little bear, all big and strong, but with a big heart.

The story could be describe as Slow Burn, and given the context it makes sense that everything goes slowly and surprisingly I liked this.

As for the ending... WTF Ella!? I didn't expect such a sudden end.

But I loved it. ๐Ÿ˜✨๐Ÿ˜

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This ending was total shit!

Really, I never thought that from Jay Kristoff I would read a story whose problems were solved with True Love

Don't f*ck me Jay! What the f*ck is that? ๐Ÿ˜ต‍๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ˜ก

The first two books were master piece, this one at the beginning with the time travel and the plot happening in the present, past and future at the same time, was breath taking at every moment.

At times I feared the death of one of the main characters. That fear was real!

But the ending was totally anticlimatic. I expected an epic battle in which Aurora and and the others would do their best to defeat the enemy once and for all, but... It all ended with a conversation... about true love ๐Ÿ˜

And jut like that, the enemy understood that what it was doing, that its purpose in life was wrong and evil and decided to destroy himself...

Really!? ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿป‍♀️๐Ÿ˜ต‍๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ˜‘

Uff, it was intense the month and we're just getting started  ๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ

As you can see, for me reading is a fairly immersive experience, in which I immerse myself totally. And that's why I end up living in my own flesh all the emotions and feelings of the characters.

Anyways, these are my favorite books of January, with Alastair being chosen as the best book of the month. If you want to see the chart with the best books of each month you will find them in the Book Challenge section.

Tell me, which are your favorites of the month?

Alastair - January best reading

 Details

Pride comes before the fall. Or so they say.

Cursed with the deadly sin of Pride, failure isn’t an option for Alastair. Win at all costs. With the war intensifying, the stakes are higher than ever. Sacrifices must be made. Throw in the awakening of a soulmate bond on top of that, and things have never been so complicated. Especially when that soulmate is an angel with icy eyes but whose touch is surprisinly warm.

What happens when your fated mate is the one person you’re forbidden to love?

Lazarus has lived an obedient life of a celestial warrior. Taking nothing for himself. Tossing aside all desires. Fate has other plans. One kiss. That’s all it takes for the emotions he sealed away to surge forward. But is loving Alastair worth falling for?

War is unpredictable. And as the final battle approaches, hearts—and lives—are put on the line. It all leads to one heart-pounding conclusion.

Book 7 in the Sons of the Fallen series with fated mates, an angel’s first taste of love, a war between good and evil, and one epic conclusion. Each book features a different main couple, but the series must be read in order. HEA guaranteed.
